You will need a good blend of proteins, carbs, and fat. You can't build muscle without all three, but you need to eat them in the right proportions. A 40-40-20 ratio is good where you get 40% of your calories from protein, 40% from carbs, and 20% from fat.
Your protein should come from multiple sources (whey, lean meat, eggs), your carbs should be slow burning and complex (oats, sweet potatoes, brown rice, brown bread, etc.) and from green leafy vegatable (broccolli, peas, spinach, romaine lettuce), and your fats should be a blend of saturated fats and polyunsaturated fats.
After weightlifting, you should eat a protein shake mixed with simple carbs. Dextrose and Maltodextrin are your better choices.

a balanced diet is all you need...if you don't know what that entails, suggest you talk to your home economics teacher, they are taught nutrition.
