Glasgow Celtic are a metaphor for the Irish immigrant population's struggle in lots of countries the world over-but particularly in a very sectarian and divided country such as Scotland where they are not only massively outnumbered but continually patronised by the establishment .They are not merely a football club-they are an emotional investment by millions of the most fanatical and loyal(sic) fans the world over, who appreciate good football teams coming to play in Glasgow but enjoy it even more when they go home empty handed time and time again. The English media are awakening to the fact that we are the biggest club in the world and it is a priviledge to have been born to follow them-Win it?-of course we can-with a following like that and wee Gordon firing them up anything is possible.HAIL HAIL THE CELTS ARE HERE!!

That's three homes wins.

They were lucky though, but Man U did not take their chances with all the possession they had so they deserved exactly what they got.

Before Celtic can succeed in European Competitions though they have to win away from home. Something that they have not done in quite some time.

Their destiny is in their own hands. Man U. now have a difficult game against Benfica and Celtic have the easier game.

I would think that Celtic would beat Copenhagen in 2 weeks time and reach the knock out stages.

Come on the HOOPS.

To the victor goes the spoils! They could go on and win why not. They had more fire in their bellies than MU in the second half.

It seems to that it takes foriegn players to show the Brits how to play real football these days. Though a lot of the Brit players are good at footie.

based on that performance? hahahaha sorry son you were played off the field tonight. other teams will take their chances

although, credit to them for taking their chance.....i don't stand by the statement that a team 'deserved' to win if they didn't score more than the other team. the celtic defence was a little jittery but solid. the celtic fans were fantastic, especially when they all cried foul after vidic made a legitimate tackle - incidentally, celtic scored off the resulting free kick
