pineapple as well as all fruit is fine for kids but remember that fruit makes bowls loose. So if you have toddlers in pampers make sure you don't give em too much. Bye.

A lot of it has to do with personal preference. Adults can normally get past less than sweet pineapple, but kids mouths are more sensitive. More so, I would say it has to do with the quality of the pineapple. If its not in season, it won't be as sweet and most pineapples in groceries are not ripe; once picked they won't ripen further either.Truly ripe pineapples are not found in the supermarket because almost all pineapple fruits are harvested at the mature-green stage of maturity. Pineapple is known for aiding in digestion. It contains a proteolytic enzyme bromelain, which digests food by breaking down protein. Pineapple is a good source of manganese, as well as containing significant amounts of Vitamin C and Vitamin B1.

Yup. Very good. Fruit is full of vitamin C. I wouldn't give it to a child under 18 months, but over that it's fine. Also just beware to have the child brush their teeth afterwards, as too much citrus can eat away at the tooth enamel.
