There are many many more sections of the Bible out there. The Vatican removed them many years ago to cover up many things so that people will not learn the truth about many things listed in the Bible.

Do a Google search for "missing bible". Look at the missing bible verses, people, places, things, religions, etc.

Also look for some special books. Take a look at the list of what the Torah consists of and compare that to the list of the Old Testament. Find all those that are in the Torah and not in the Old Testament.

Look for a 2,000+ page multi-volume set written by a nun from France many centuries ago. She claimed to be the reincarnation of Mary's mother and wrote about her past life in very great detail.

Look for the African accounts of Mary and Jesus - it gives a blow by blow detailed account of how Mary first encountered the Angels from God when she was born, how she was taught all about childbearing while she was a mere babe, and how when she was 5 years old she went to the temple to demand that the Priests approve her for marriage because she was going to carry the child of God. It also explains how the priests sought out a suitable husband for the 5 year old, eventually blackmailing the just widowed Joseph into marrying Mary, how he had to flee his village with Mary when she became pregnant, and how they only place they could find was a manger because the inn keepers did not want a pregnant child on the premises.

There is so much more to be learned. The reasons for not having any male figures is discussed in detail - you learn that God is female and not male - the change of the sex was done by rulers in power to stop female rulership.

Oops, I am rambling now. I could go on forever with the things removed, cut out and altered in the Bible to try to halt technological progress, prevent science from gaining a foothold, prevent people from learning about the solar system is laid out and so much more.

Bigez answered your question. I just wanted to add that many laws in the Old Testament were written to a specific people at a specific time. Some of the old covenants have been fulfilled and no longer apply to us. Nothing has been written out or rearranged; the Bible is still the inerrant and infallible Word of God.

There is a field of Bible study called Biblical Hermeneutics. It interprets the Bible according to the grammatical-historical method. I have provided a link if you would like to learn more.

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."

In Exodus 13:13, it is written: My Sabbaths (plural) you shall keep.
In Leviticus 23:7, one extremely holy Sabbath could not be celebrated until the Hebrews came into the Land of Promise. In verse 21, God previewed a new and everlasting Sabbath to be celebrated on the first day of the week--Exodus 22.29 and Leviticus 23:24-25. That new First Fruit Sabbath is to seal the New Covenant of Jeremiah 31:31 which would allow Gentiles to participate.

By the way, just coincidentally, as the Jews entered the promised land, for the first time in history, the Jewish Sabbath changes across different time zones. Thank heaven God foresaw and told Saul to write that the old Sabbaths and new moon feasts would cease and that we are now celebrating the Spirit of the Law and not the Letter of the Law; otherwise anyone celebrating a Sabbath outside of the time ordained in Israel would be in breach.

Boaz.

Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. Since the Lord died for us, He became the Sabbath for we all rest in Him. So everyday is technically a Sabbath day. No where in the bible does God declare what day we should use for the Sabbath, he only said for us to work 6 days and rest on the seventh.

Below is a very in-depth study of how the Bible came to be and how it has been faithfully transmitted down through the centuries. I think it will answer most if not all your questions on the subject.

Do a search on the Dead Sea Scrolls, Gnostic Gospels. The Gospel of Thomas and Mary. Learn Greek and read the original, you will see that alot has been edited in order to suppress the population.
