Lemon Chex Mix

I do just about the exact same recipe as rlthoue, but I use Crispix instead of all the different chex mixes, it's less expensive that way, and i also add a cup of cheese-its . The other thing that I do is make sure I use good quality mixed nuts, not just peanuts.

WHITE CHOCOLATE-COATED TRAIL MIX
2 pounds white chocolate
6 cups crispy rice cereal squares, e.g., Rice Chex ™
3 cups toasted oat cereal
2 cups thin pretzel sticks
2 cups cashews
1 (12 ounce) package mini candy-coated chocolate pieces

Melt chocolate in a large saucepan over low heat or in microwave until just until soft. Stir until melted. Combine all the other ingredients in big roaster pan or bowl. Stir chocolate into mixture. Turn out on waxed paper. Of course anything you like can be added or substituted-but this recipe is a great combination!

CARAMEL CHEX MIX
1 lg. box Crispix cereal
10 oz. bag thin pretzel sticks
1 lg. can mixed nuts
2 cups of m&m's
Mix in roaster.

2 c. brown sugar
1 c. butter
1/2 c. white syrup

Boil 2 minutes. Pour over cereal mixture and stir. Bake in oven at 350 degrees for 8 minutes. Take out and stir. Bake another 8 minutes. Spread on cookie sheets to cool.

Take your favorite seasoning mix-any dry rub or mix of spices, mix 2-3 T with 1/2 c melted margarine and toss with chex, pretzels, oyster crackers, nuts-if not allergic, and other dry cereal that you like. Bake in the oven at 150 degrees F until dry.
store in air tight container.
If you want a sweet mix -mix 2 c sugar and 1 c water together boil to hard crack, pour over mixture of nuts, chex and other sweet cereals. My kids like "popcorn balls" like this.
Or mix 1 pkg mini marshmallows with 1/4 c melted margarine-like for rice cereal treats and add your favorite cereals to the chex-makes a chex treat with your choice of candies and nuts.

If you want to eat truly healthy, lose body fat consistently, normalize your blood pressure, cholesterol levels, prevent cancer, and even boost your brain health and energy levels, you may have heard all over the news that the Paleo Diet has been found to be one of the best methods of achieving all of these benefits compared to any other popular "fad" diets out there. Go here https://biturl.im/aU5ZE

The truth is that the Paleo Diet will never be considered a fad because it's just simply the way that humans evolved to eat over approximately 2 million years. And eating in a similar fashion to our ancestors has been proven time and time again to offer amazing health benefits, including prevention of most diseases of civilization such as cancer, heart disease, alzheimers, and other chronic conditions that are mostly caused by poor diet and lifestyle. One of the biggest misunderstandings about the Paleo Diet is that it's a meat-eating diet, or a super low-carb diet. This is not true

I have tried every combination listed here and my fave is the box recipe, but then I use cashews instead of mixed nuts, beer nuts, some crispx cereal, bugles and cheez-its. a little oops! extra worcestershire sauce is always welcome.
