My kitty doesn't scratch me,except when playing and by accident, but I pretty much ask for it when he does scratch me, which is really rare.
For example, if I put my hand flat on the wall he'll try to jump and touch the hand, without his claws. But when he sees a black dot on the wall or something, he jumps on the wall with his claws out. I just find it weird. And also when I play with him sometimes he grabs my hand to his body(without his claws) and starts biting it. or something. But with a toy or stick or something he uses his claws to grab is bite it and stuff. I hope he never scratches me!
How does the cat know its me?Why doesn't he scratch like other kitties?

One of my cats went through a vicious ambush phase of life (fortunately, we both lived through it). The other would never dream of touching human skin with tooth or claw but one of her favorite games is "cover up". When she gets under the covers and we pet her through them, she turns into a tiger, biting, kicking, purring. She isn't feeling trapped, just a chance for the alter ego to break out. She even jumps up on the bed and stares at me until I throw the covers over her so the game can begin. But actually bite or scratch a human, it's just not her nature. You have a loving, naturally gentle kitty. Enjoy. They are all different and the next one might not let you off so easy.

In some ways cats are psychic and they sense
or know if their keeper doesn't want to be scratched. Cat's don't think interms of ownership they probably think in terms of keeper or minder. Cat's will do things to please
their owners if they can.. I once had a cat bring me my slippers after seeing a dog do it! I never trained a cat or dog but the dog I was just look after for someone while the someone was gone
on what I thought was a business trip. Where the person really went was to Price Is Right!
If a cat senses one doesn't mind being scratched a little the cat will scratch! Some cats prefer to nibble rather than scratch! Put
some temptation treats on your lap and call your cat she or he will see them sniff them and like them and when the treats are gone will scratch to see if there's any that were missed!
Cats are crazy over Temptation treats. I tried one and it tasted like peanut butter! I know cats can't eat peanut butter it's far too sticky for them.

Sometimes cats just don't scratch like that and know the difference between using their claws for defence and not for playing, looks like you have a well-trained cat :)

Not all kittens scratch. In fact, most don't. Sounds like you have a gentle cat. When a cat bites it often means that it is over stimulated by playing with you or when you pet him.

Some people play with their cats as though they are dogs. Unfortunately all that does is make a cat more aggressive.

My cat additionally has a unfavorable pores and dermis hypersensitive reaction. the 1st concern is to make particular it rather isn't any longer delivered approximately via ability of fleas. if so, get rid of the fleas first! additionally, make particular it rather isn't any longer ear mites and the cat's no longer in basic terms "lacking the mark" via ability of scratching the neck. regardless of if it rather isn't any longer fleas or mites, shop her pores and dermis sparkling and moisturized. We use an oatmeal or aloe shampoo on her as in the present day as a week. She has additionally been on Dexamethasone off-and-on for purely approximately a year, despite the fact that this is a corticosteroid drug that would prefer to no longer be considered an prolonged-term answer. Fish oil as an additive to food will help the cat's pores and dermis.

Cats scratch for 3 reasons: anger, irritation, or in heat. If your cat isn't doing that to you, it means that they love you a whole bunch.

The cat knows its you because it must have marked you with its smell long ago.
