Atheist are void of God's love, a person who has been raised without it has no clue of what it is to feel it. Therefore they poke fun at our source of love, and they think that it may deter us from it. They are like puppies with out owners, some will growl at you when all you want to give them is love.

Atheists don't believe in the existance of God.
Being an athiest doesn't mean that a person doesn't believe that Jesus lived. In fact, there are tons of Jesus's alive and well today in Mexico and the southern parts of the United States. I personally believe in every single one of them.
I don't make fun of any of the Jesus's. In fact, from what I've heard, it seems like the Jesus you're referring to was a pretty nice guy.

i'm hoping that maximum atheists a minimum of have self assurance he existed in view that via present day scholarship standards there is surely a ton of evidence for him as against many different ancients that folk settle for without blinking an eye fixed. easily, believing he did no longer exist (i'm no longer talking his claims or how his existence went) might rather be the real definition of willful lack of information, IMO.

I will give you my thoughts on this and hopefully they do not offend you or anyone. That is not my intention.
I grew up in the church and understand that many intelligent and quite normal people belive the bible. In fact, my whole family believes it! Personally I don't believe in Jesus as the son of god, the virgin birth, etc. I do believe that he existed, but was just a man. Furthermore I do not believe in the miracles described in the bible. Ok now that you know my background...here is my answer to your question.
Atheists do not see the bible as believeable text. To them, it is obvious that the bible is a work of fiction. For some, their minds cannot comprehend how someone could possibly believe it. The ones who make fun dont do it out of insecurity - they honestly think it is funny that people believe it.
Kind of like the christians who insult anyone who does not believe the bible - they don't do it out of insecurity. They really think the nonbelievers are truely that stupid!

My guess is (for those with ill humor) moral dilemma.
If you're uncomfortable with something, just make fun of it.
I would think a "true" atheist really would not care, would not take the time to ridicule. Again, America does not force you to do anything in regard to religion. Don't care who's in the White House.

I believe that any unbelieving sinner that resides in this section on a daily basis to mock,ridicule and slander are insecure and have a sick fixation on something that they claim to not believe in. These people are not true to what they say and believe and they compromise their non beliefs by coming to this section among believers. *(*

People make fun of Santa Claus,and few people believe in him.People make fun of anything and everything.It's easier to make jokes about something you don't believe in,don't you think?I tell jokes about Jesus,sometimes.I believe he lived,but is more like Santa in that,even though he had a great life while he lived,he was human like the rest of us.I also make jokes about myself,my sister,my mom...just about everyone.It's called "having a sense of humor".I mean nothing serious by it.Why does it matter to you?Just ignore it.I'm sure Jesus does.
