Christianity and Islam are tied for the scariest:
These two will kill you if you don't follow their way of thinking.
Christians seemed to have forgotten the time when the church ruled Europe with an iron fist and Muslims have never bothered to learn that lesson and seem content to continue letting the church rule their lives with the same iron fist.
Those two also creep me out the most, especially when I hear their little children spouting about jesus or allah.

All organized religions creep me out! Think about it. Islam says everyone that doesnt conform goes to hell! Judaism says "We are the chosen ones"! Christians say "Jesus will save you"!. And I can go on and on....but!!!! I think Scientology must be the most ridiculous "now" religion in the world! Anyone that believes a single word of Scientology is a complete moron (Tom Cruise you are a ******* moron!)

fear is based on ignorrance , No relgion is scary is is just misunderstood by the followers of other Religions, The thing that is scary in any relgious group , is fanatics and extremeist these people use their Religion to justify hate and violence towards other and that is not the purpose relgion should servee in society , I mean sure there are some ignornat , violent christians with in the pro-life group only too happy to bomb a abortion clinic and there are members of the Islamic faith that are willing to blow themselves and innocent victims in to obilivion and I'm sure I could find examples of this nature in every relgious faith, but these people don't even understand their own faith so don't be scared by their relgion it the indivuiduals who are scary

Religion in general doesn't scare me. But these people who go around shoving their holy books down people's necks and have got this "Our way or the highway" attitude on religion bother me like nothing else.

Any group within a religion who think that they are better then others and want to force themselves on others.
We are all God's children and worship him in our own ways.
When people start spreading lies about how other believe we do not see the truth.
We need to try to love and understand each other.

In a fundamental sense they are ALL wrong. But the ones that scare me are the monotheistic varieties where there's this very vain, vengeful, and violent god who apparently intends to destroy the world and then send those disloyal to him to a place of eternal suffering - by the way, they often refer to him as a "loving god,."
Anyway, a lot of those believers seem hell bent on remaking the world in their religious image. And they have armies & lots of weapons, so it's best to take them seriously. There are even world leaders who believe they are in direct contact with this deity. I kid you not.

It's sad to see people here answer Christianity. It's sick that someone would answer like that over a religion that would purposely blow up women and children for a piece of land, or slaughter a nun and burn buildings because of a stupid cartoon.
