Put the tongue bar in the freezer for a while, once the gum is frozen it will chip right off. The oil in the peanut butter will also help to loosen the gum but takes a bit of rubbing to be effective.

if the gum is still wet then take another piece and touch it to your tongue ring and that should get it off hopefully...
p.s. how did you manage that? I have had mine 8 years and chew gum daily and have never had a problem
