Roses especially. Have you noticed the ones that are most beautiful and have the most fragrance , are the ones that have the sharpest thorns? What could you say about this in a spiritual sense?

That the most beautiful and pure can also be the most loudly denied.
Everything is made by God or divinely inspired even the thorn. Do you think that we (believers) don't know every time we try to show someone something beautiful that we don't risk getting pricked by a thorn.

I LOVE flowers....roses in a spiritual sense? Well, the Bible does say that Jesus is the "Rose of Sharon"......but roses have thorns too, and the "thorns" of His judgment are reserved for those who rejected His Gift of eternal Life.

Wow. You have a cool mind. I never thought about that. I suppose you can say that those who are the sharpest in the Word of God and therefore the will of God are more spiritually pure and beautiful.

Humans have been hybridizing roses for quite a long time so unless you find wild roses, which often do have a nice fragrance, there’s not much you can say except we humans never stop trying to improve roses.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, not in the length, nor the sharpness, of the thorns.

I am fascinated by even the tiniest of flowers that weeds produce, most people ignore flowers that are not cultivated, but even these minuscule blossoms are incredible in their beauty.
