Me? I'm a middle child, and it seems like the most reasonable, least psychologically damaging position to be in. ...what do you think?

I'm the middle child, and I am the most responsible, I am my mom's favorite. I always set the bar. It would be best to be the middle I think, nothing really riding on you. If you are the oldest, you are expected to be the best and be a role model. If you are the youngest, you have to measure up to the older ones.

Being adopted I have 2 families and am the middle child of one and the baby of the other and i think being the youngest is more fun. Parents seem to be trying things out with the oldest and when they make mistakes they tighten the reigns so to speak on the middle and by the youngests turn they pretty much have things figured out.

i'm the oldest .. to be the oldest the all responsible on ya
the middle have no special treatments in the family
alwayz the youngest is spoiled with more care from parents and older brotherz.. no one is satisfied,, even being the only child makes u feel lonely :(

being a middle child can really suck sometimes i know because i to am a middle child im a M with 2 sisters.

I think that you are Blessed just to be in a family! Some people does not know who or where their family are. Enjoy being in the middle!

i recon the youngest because they get every thing the eldest gets in trouble for every thing and the middle one gets left out

youngest,, im the oldest and my little brother gets more gifts and stuff than i ever got as his age. hes spoiled
and oldest has is perks to
i get to drive 5 years before him and i get to pick on him A LOT

to be completely honest...i don't think it matters at all.
I've know some really smart ppl in all the birth orders, and I've known some really stupid ppl in all the birth orders....it's not WHEN you were born, it's what you DO with yourself AFTER your here that counts.
me, my sister and my brother have all grown up to be strong, independent people. we are all in stable marriages and have beautiful children.
we don't BLAME our birth order for our short-comings.
