Dogs smell it before they see it. Dogs have a keener smell that people do excepting for some Yogi's that have been able to develop a keen sense of smell! Most People don't use their senses as often as dogs do! I in fact just came in a little while ago and I had stepped in some doggie doo! It was just a small amount. Was hidden by the grass! I had my slippers on now I have to wash them!

Dogs have their nose to the ground reading the messages left for them by other dogs. Humans are too busy talking on their cell phones to read the warning message before they step on it.

Actually, in my house its the other way around and I'm always cleaning my dogs feet when they come back in from a walk. Silly things.

I guess cause dogs are lower to the ground and can smell it better and faster, we sometimes just keep walking and dont ever look down.

Because dogs have a much stronger sence of smell and they're more aware of where the dog poo is.

they can smell it and wedont right away so we get doggy mess in are feet
