Not only am I unabashed in my public mastication, I actually find it enjoyable many times. I prefer to masticate in public, as I don't have to deal with the lengthy preparation or the clean-up after.

Ha Ha EarlD. Obviously it has to be put in plain english for you to understand. Masticate means to chew. Dingle Berry! What do kids reading this stuff have to do with anything?

When sitting at the dinner table
My little sister has a habit of eating with her toes
She also tells everyone that it’s hard to eat with you mouth open
With a hot dog in your nose
She’s dropped that poor doggy down on her plate
And we all watched as it bounced and banged a beat
She then shouted, “I must eat with my mouth open,
Give me more... I must have more to eat!”
My mother will come out juggling nine eggs
And drop them on my head
While my sister demands that everyone chews with their mouth open
As I pled for someone to send this child to bed
Chew! Chew! Chew!
Everyone’s mouth opened wide
Chew Chew! Chew!
Underneath the dinning table I hide
paaatches –Chewing I can tolerate. To be discreet is where it’s at but when masticating is followed with sound, that’s a whole different story.

Chew away but keep your mouth shut. Nothing much worse at the table than someone with an open mouth making the most disgusting noises while chewing food.

I masticate in the school cafeteria three times a day!
And wow, there are a lot of ignorant people on Yahoo today. The dude above me, all I can say is wow. Just wow.

We could not live with masticating, whether in private or public.
Feel sorry for the person who does not know what masticate means......oh well he/she must have a one track mind...a DIRT track.

Doesn't bother me to do it and it doesn't bother me if others do it, as long as their mouth is closed. I don't like being covered in stary food particles, nor do I like seeing the food, mid mastication.

It doesn't bother me. I gotta eat, and if my friend is going to criticize how I eat then I'd re-consider the friendship. Seriously. I'm not complaining about how they eat, are they less my friend because I eat in front of them?
