Never Tickle a Sleeping Dragon

This is very important. While dragons sleep, tickling them could cause them to chortle. Chortling while sleeping will only get the tickler killed - or worse - eaten.

So goes the general proverb - very similar to Let Sleeping Dragons Lie - in other words, if there is danger about, try to avoid it, dont go and provoke it further.

I've not read any of the Harry Potter books, but have seen all but the last of the movies. I did get 'dragon' and a form of the verb, 'to sleep.' The nunquam is a negative imperative but I couldn't get the titillandus - although looking at it, I can now see it is probably the root of the English word, titillate. It would be nice to know where I could go on-line to get Latin translations. I speak 3 languages and use several on--line sources to back up my knowledge gaps but can't find any free Latin translators. You get my star for an interesting question, though. ;o)

Never Distrub Sleeping Dracos (Malfoy)... can't remember the rest of it. That's from Harry Potter isn't it?

As is the name of the person who's answered this before me!
