It's all about your heart rate. Higher heart rate means you muscles are working harder.

Muscles burn calories... the harder the workout, the more calories the muscles burn (and generally, the higher your pulse during the workout).

Lean about "Target Heart Rate" for working out.

No. You burn more calories with jogging since your intensity level is higher.

if you are at your target heart rate yes, mile vs mile . you just get there quicker with jogging
