1. Broccoli with just some salt and butter. Basic but great!
2. Broccoli casserole - (par boiled) egg noodles, cream of 'something soup' (whatever you like, cream of chicken, mushroom, etc), broccoli, maybe some carrots. Season with salt, pepper, season all, put in dish, sprinkle bread crumbs, bake for 40 minutes at 375. Yummy.
3. Eat it with dip - ranch dip, hummus, etc.
4. Broccoli in a Blanket! - buy pillsbury crescent rolls, wrap a roll around each stalk. bake at 375 for 12 minutes
5. Broccoli and Cheese over Rice
6. Beef/Chicken/Shrimp -n Broccoli- Chinese style. Just buy the cooking oil/sauce and the meat and stirfry on medium for like 20 mins (meat should already be cooked)
7. Put on top of a baked potato
8. Put on your pizza
9. Flour them, fry them, dip them in ranch sauce -

Definietly use them for THanksgiving. First steam them in a steamer, or boil just until tender crisp. Saute a good handful of slivered almonds in about 1/4 cup of butter in a saucepan, when the almonds are just barely browning, squeeze some lemon juice into the pan. Add a dash of salt and pepper and toss the broccoli with this mixture just before serving. Simple and delicious. The rest of the broccoli you could use to make soup.

I love raw broccoli salad. Finely chop the florets and put in a bowl with a handful or two of raisins (golden are best, but any will do), a couple of strips of bacon, chopped or crumbled and 1/2 a red onion, diced. Then, make a dressing with about a cup of mayonnaise, 1/4 cup red wine vinegar and 1/4 cup sugar. Mix this dressing well and pour over the salad. Let sit for a few hours at least, before serving. It's one of my favorite side dishes :) Good luck!

Broccoli Au Gratin.........use cheddar cheese soup as the base for the cheese sauce, steam the broccoli for about 5 minutes and place in a 9X13 casserole dish and pour the cheese sauce over, bake at 350F for 30 min, remove and add canned Frenches Onions to the top and a little shredded cheddar cheese and return to the oven for about 10-15 minutes, and then watch it disappear!!! If ya still have too much after T'Giving, make a big pot of Cream of Broccoli and Cheese Soup......very delicious......

Okay, I looked through the answers and didn't see this one, so here goes:
Cold broccoli salad.
Chop your broccoli into chunks, steam for about 15 mins.
In a medium pan, heat some olive oil, minced onion, garlic, oregano, parsley, salt and pepper. Cook until onion and garlic is transparent. Mix in strained broccoli chunks and cook until broccoli is tender, stirring often.
Remove from heat and place in bowl and refrigerate. When ready to serve, splash a small amount of vinegar on top and toss.
This is a good dish, and its not very common. It definetly adds some different flavor to your meal. And BTW, it is my mother in laws'. She's italian.

The crowns make a really good broccoli casserole. Just mix them with a little milk, flour, salt and pepper. Put in a casserole dish, sprinkle with a generous amount of crumbled Ritz crackers and top that with sliced Velveeta. Bake at 400 degrees until bubbly, about 10-12 minutes.

Assuming they are raw, I love Broccoli Salad
Chop the crowns into individual small stalks that are a size for eating in a salad
Add:
2 slices crumbled cooked bacon
1 T white vinegar or other vinegar
1 cup mayo (reg or low fat or do 1/2 c sour cream and 1/2 cup mayo)
1/2 t salt
3/4 cup chopped onion, sweet or red
3/4 cup raisins, craisins or chopped dried Apricot
sunflower seeds, if desired
1 tsp sugar

Add them to a breakfast quiche
Keep then Fozen - head outside and have a broccoli crown fight after dinner to wear off some of those calories you just ate!

"Creamy Broccoli and Cheese" - 4 servings
1 (1 oz.) packet Hidden Valley Original Ranch Dressing Mix
8 oz. cream cheese
3/4 cup milk
1 lb. broccoli; cooked and drained
1/2 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
In blender container, combine dressing mix, cream cheese and milk. Pour over broccoli in 9" baking dish; stir well and top with cheese.
Bake at 350* - 25 minutes or until cheese is melted.

You can make this broccoli salad:
If the florest aren't already, cut them into bite size pieces and blanche them in a steamer until bright green and a little tender, then put in ice water and drain. Toss with green goddess salad dressing, or even ranch salad dressing is good, to coat. Add halved cherry tomatoes and either bacon bits or make your own bacon and crumble, and toss with the broccoli.
