My dad's dog died last night, and I'd like to think he's in a better place right now.

No they don`t. According to Bible only humans have souls. And unfortunately one needs soul to go to heaven. By the way I don`t believe there`s heaven. :D

I think so. I like to think that my dog that died last month is up in heaven playing with my grandson.

St. Thomas Aquinas says "no".
This is the only time I disagree with St. Thomas.
He is wrong. If dogs are not in heaven, I'm not going.

yes they do, only if you want it so, God grants every thing in heaven, after all they're His creation too, the little ones Jesus said about children and pets. Could you really have heaven without them?

dogs weren't made in God's image as people so I don't think so.
And God breathed life into mans' nostrils not animals as you read the first book of the Bible 'Genesis'
