Seriously now, for anyone who actually believes.... why? You can't prove it, and to me it seems really stupid to believe in God. So someone explain it please!

Do you believe in the wind? Have you ever seen it? Or have you only seen the effects of it?

I find it more supid to believe that all this world around just happened. Look at some of the amazing things in nature...did you know there is a pine tree that drops 2 types of pinecones? 1 is a normal type of cone the other will only open and drop the nuts if it is heated. If man evolved from apes why are there still apes? If evolution is true why hasn't it occured in 6000 years? Why don't mother's have 4 hands & eyes in the back of their heads? Why can't cats use a can opener.

This is actually someone else's answer. It comes from a discussion on God vs. Atheism.

If I believe what the Atheist believes (isn't that oxymoronic), and I am right, I go into the dirt when I die and that's it. If I believe in God, and I am right, I go to heaven...

If I believe in God and I am wrong, I go into the dirt when I die and that's it. If I believe what the Atheist believes and I am wrong, I go to Hell.

Given the choice, it's better to hedge my bet and believe in God.

That's not my personal answer, because I believe that God is personal to everyone, and my answer may not work for anyone else. Let's just say that I've seen, felt and heard too much not to believe, and I have yet to hear a better explanation for it all.

God created man to have someone to commune with. I talk to God all of the time, I sing to him. He speaks to me through the Holy Spirit and through dreams. I know that he is real because when He speaks it is always confirmed by another means. Too many times to be able to call it a coinsidence. Also, there have been way too many times when I couldn't solve a problem and I gave it over to Him and trusted Him to take care of me and He did. None of these times could I give credit to anybody else but God. It is obvious that you are searching for something... or you wouldn' t have asked this question. Pray and ask God to show you that He is real and I promise that He will.

I can't make you believe anything that you don't want to believe. All I can do is honestly tell you what changed my mind and made me start to believe.

Several years ago I had an unusual experience concerning an uncle, a distant relative who lived over a thousand miles away.

While driving my car I suddenly felt the unmistakable presence of this relative that I hardly even knew. He was more like someone I had heard about than someone I knew. It was very strange; it felt as though I was momentarily lifted right out of my physical body. I seemed to be suspended somehow beyond space and time, bathed in a love so intense It felt like I could have just disappear into it at any moment if It would have let me. It only lasted for a few seconds, but it seemed to last forever at the same time. I realize how crazy this must sound. The experience was so strong that at first I was afraid I was loosing my grip on reality. I finally managed to chalk it up to an over active imagination.

Three days later I got a call from my aunt telling me that this uncle we are talking about had gone into a coma and died the day I had the experience. It felt like ice water had been poured down my back when she told me this. I had lost any real ideas of God or faith and had become somewhat of an atheist. Needless to say this experience caused me to rethink some of the conclusions I had come to.

I feel blessed to now understand that even in our darkest confusion something loves us so much that it went out of its way to assist me and bring me back to a state of absolute certainty about Gods love for us.
During the experience it seemed like there was a vast amount of information that I was somehow allowed access to. One thing that I came away from this experience understanding beyond any shadow of a doubt was that any Idea that God is unhappy with us or would judge or allow us to be punished for any reason is simply impossible.

I can’t explain the love I felt with words. They simply don’t make words big enough or complete enough to do this. The only way I can begin to convey this love to you is to say that there was simply nothing else there. Nothing but love. No hint of judgment, no displeasure of any sort. It is as though God sees us as being as perfect as we were the day we were created. It is only in our confused idea of ourselves that we seem to have changed.

I hope this is of some help to you. Good luck. Love and blessings.

Your brother don

Yes, I believe in God. It takes more faith to believe in evolution than it does to believe in God. Every day Scientist are pushing more and more for the belief of Intelligent Design. Who do you think that intelligence is?

God can be very real in your life, he is just waiting on YOU to take the first step toward him. IF you give him that first step, He will reveal his nature and spirit to you through Jesus his son.

I spent alot of years in the world and I have not know more peace in my life since accepting Christ as Savior. Test him! He won't be proven wrong

I have faith that there is a God who is a higher being. It is proven to me everyday because I look for ways He makes Himself visable to me. Could be something as simple as a friend calling me when I really need to talk to someone. Why did that friend call me at that moment when I needed it most?? I believe that my friend was moved by God to call.
Could be something more serious such as a near miss of a tragedy that may have changed my life forever.
He makes Himself known to me because I pray for His help and guidance each day.

Well, to me things just don't happen out of coincidence. Did you switch on your computer or your computer switch on by itself? Did you type your words in purpose or without purpose? Or did your keyboard type by itself? The moon rotate the earth without strings. Can you tell me what is the purpose of the sun? That gigantic fireball in space has ONLY 1 purpose, that is for earth and all benefits comes back to us. God Create the sun for us. The sun has no other purpose. Thats the proof that God Almight love us very much. That is what i believe in.

God exists and I can prove it!

Are you WILLING to search out if God really does exist and let Him reveal Himself to you?

There is no area that you can turn to in life that God has not already spoken. If you are unwilling or unable to accept the truth claims of God and the proofs of His existence that are all around you, wherever you are, then you are being blinded, decieved and in denial.

One of the truth claims and promises of God is that; "if you will seek out God with all your heart, mind and soul, all of your strength, then He will reveal Himself to you."

To those who know Him, Christians, He tells us that if we will draw near to Him He will draw near to us.

I went on this quest because I just wanted to know the truth. I did not care what the truth was I just wanted to know. In my journey to find the truth God revealed Himself to me in many and powerful ways, so much so that I can NEVER deny that He exists and that He is who He says He is.

Do you have the courage to seek the face of God and accept His truth as the Creator of all life in the universe including yours? If you do I promise you that your life will never be the same again. So the real question is are you willing to accept the truth when God reveals Himself to you?

If you would like more information feel free to contact me by

I believe in God because he heal me twice without any doctor interferance. I believe God because when i read his book the holy bible it gives me a conviction to follow the right path. I believe in God because i can feel his spirit. I believe God because he answers a lot of my prayer that according to his will. I believe God because he died for us and he loves us first before we love him.I believe God because of his teachings and guidance, i have direction in life, my decision dont fail, i dont worry, no fear, no deppression, no anxiety i live a life of contentment. I believe God because he speak to me through dreams. I believe a lot and if i told you all about it then there will be no space for anybody here.

Could it be your stupidity? I believe in God because I know him. I can't prove God to you only God can do that. God choses who he reveals himself to. Those that seek God with value will find him he is not hidden but is reaching out to you.
