what do you call a person, that teaches kids outside of school, and takes care of them. besides nannys, and homeschool teachers. kinda like the ones that take care of special ed kids outside of school.

You mean a social worker. My brother has one of those and they really help him with his school and physical work. People may say that there not worth the time but in all reality all they do is healp you. And it's not just about work. They have fun to!

Well, I would call that person a tutor.
Or maybe a babysitter.
A parent.
A grandparent.
A caregiver.
A caretaker.
A wonderful helper.

Well, in sped we call them caregivers, respite givers, or CSW's, although I can't remember what CSW stands for!
