There is a very shy girl im really attracted to and she said she liked me too. The other day I gave her a sweat poem and now she told me she would like to be "just friends." Im very confused, she still flirts with me and when i flirt back she gets mad. what does this girl want? any advise would be appreciated, thank you

When you gave her the poem it probably just made her a bit more shy. If she really likes you and you really like her just give her time and she will want to go out with you. She more than likely wants to go out with you but don't know how to go about it. Shy girls tend to keep things to themselves.Just talk to her and see how she really feels and then you will know what she really wants.

Shy girls are tricky. Here's what I would do: when she flirts with you, kinda just smile and kind of play along BUT do not flirt back. Talk to her, often -- not in private but in a defined space -- kind of one on one. Ask her about her likes and dislikes. Then, when you know more about her decide if you want to ask her out.
Why does she want to be "just friends"? Most likely because she wants to get to know YOU more -- shy girls are very cautious and just because she likes you it doesn't mean she wants to go out with you -- take it slow.
Can you add the "sweet poem" you told her as additional info? -- it could be that the poem was the problem.

If you really like her, give it some time. She may like you but not be interested in stepping things up yet. Its hard to say but, it could be you take her flirting to the next level and it scares her a bit. She obviously atleast likes you as a friend. Believe me, that takes some love and caring-maybe not on the level you want. Nonetheless, this is something wonderful in this cruel world. Hang on to it.

just relax. she is just playing game with u. u can either agree to the friendship she is offering or tell her to make up her mind about what she wants. and if u think she is into u, make her jealous she will come around in a new york minute.

keep letting her flirt, just dont do anything back. if you want her to take it up a notch, make sure you acknowlege thats shes flirting.
