You can still exercise and gain weight. You can A) Build muscle mass by lifting heavy weights in low reps OR B) Increase your caloric intake... take protein shakes/bars and alter your diet to consume more calories than what you burn while working out. Good luck!

I think it has a lot to do with your diet.Protein,carbs,stuff like that.But you have to get the balance right for different things.More protein,more muscle.More carbs,more energy.Something like that.Remember there is a differnce between weight and mass.You can put on mass(muscle)but still weigh the same.More mass doesn't meen more weight,and vice versa.
