I have met quite a few from online - most are good friends now -- some --- well let's just keep those skeletons in the closet - ACK!

I have met several people from the internet, in fact the guy I am seeing now, I met on MySpace.
It's much more acceptable these days. Most of my friends have met someone from the Internet. It's very important to be careful and meet in a public place. Also, let someone know you are going.

I have met three people in person that I've met on the Internet. Two lied and told me they were not what I saw. All they wanted was a chance to escape from their boring life. The third person I met was really nice. A great and lovely person.
Bottom line, meeting somebody from the Internet is a gamble. They could be ugly, fat, players, dangerous or maybe nice. Its up to you if you want to take the gamble.
My only suggestion is to meet them in public, not in private. Its safer that way.

No,because many bad things happen when you do that. That decision could ruin the rest of your life.If you went and saw the person. Now in some cases they could have worked out but most of the time they don't because they are not doing it for the right things like to meet people it's for other reasons.

Yes, I have. But ya gotta get to know them somehow before yu meet though..... some people even marry the people they meet some wish they never did but that is a chance you take,,, so if your thinking about it go for it and have fun.

i did when i was 15 (i was very safe about it. talked to him for 6 months, b=never showed him a pic of me, met him at the movies with a bunch pf riends) im 19 now and we've been dating for 2 years =D
