um....sometimes it has to do with insecurity...but society also tells us to be shy......so we do what is expected of us.....

pfffff girls arent shy some of them just act that way so u can chase them or so they can have a mysterious side to them that you would want to get to know more about!

Probably b cuz they (some of them) hate themselves and cant deal with the idea of rejection (like a lot of guys too). there so worried about trying to be accepted by others they dont try to accept themselves.

Some guys flatter them so then they feel like good but remember us girls are of soft nature so we tend to be like that!!

well some pple just dont hav that much to say.....im different with different pple....i can be loud or quiet, but im generally not shy

Because they don't want to make an idiot of themselves, than be rejected. Its happened to me heaps of times, and it just doesn't seem worth it.

Because they don't know how much money you are making and if your job is stable/longevity check.
