I assume here that when you say she said it was alright, that you asked her about dating him prior to actually doing it. If that is the case, then this is her own dam fault and I dont blame you for pursuing this relationship. But do realize that you and the guy will probably not end up happily ever after. But if you stay friends with your friend, that has a MUCH better chance of survival. I've been best friends with the same girl for 13 years. I've never had a relationship last anywhere NEAR that. Good luck

This sounds exactly like the situation my friend is in. She broke up with her boyfriend ages ago, but she still thinks shes in love with him. Than her friend came along and starts flirting with him and stuff.
Decide where your loyalties lie. My friend has this saying "Mates before Dates." You should probably get the all clear from her before you proceed with this, unless you really want to hurt her.
Is this Olly?

Man, you never listen to a friend when she says it's "alright" to date her ex. Because it's NEVER alright. If I were you, I'd break up with him and keep the friend. You can always find another guy.

I think you need to talk to her about it. If she told you it was ok then she needs to back it up. She's probably mad about it now because she never got over him. If they were only broken up for 2 weeks, then that on you but if it's been a while, she needs to get over it. If she is really your bff, she should be supportive.

I think it would be cute if yall stayed together and you could keep your friend. Maybe the three of you could have a threesome or something. And I'm not saying that to be funny, I'm actually serious.

don't you know the rule??? never date you best friends ex! that's just the way it goes. your friend has every reason to be mad at you. i suggest that you dump the boy before your friend dumps you!

She should want you to be happy. I mean you like him alot and she broke up with him so she shouldn't be so mad. She had him but got rid of him so it was her los she should't stop real love. i think she should just get over it its not like she controls your heart you do.
