Like many others, I think the best dessert would be a type of pie. They actual type of pie is totally up to you! Choose what type of flavor you enjoy. But what becomes very important along with the dessert and food is having a good drink as well. Forget about sodas and other things that are bad for you and try Crystal Light. It comes in a ton of flavors, its healthy, and it tastes good! Too good to be true? Try out a free sample at http://urlx.org/89ab5.

My dad always made chocolate pie. You buy a simple pie crust which I believe they make in sugar free, if not I know they have reduced fat. And then for the filling you use sugar free instant jello pudding. You just mix the pudding with milk in the blender pour it into the pie crust, then put in the fridge til it congeals. Then top it with light/free cool whip. We always made this for occasions because my family had heart problems and diabeties.

I would use Splenda as a sugar substitute. You can use it in just about everything and you can't tell the difference. Dessert that's not sweet, just isn't dessert.

Splenda New York Style Cheesecake is great (see recipe link below).
Definitely not fat-free though. You can substitute the full fat cream cheese for low-fat or fat-free, however.
