you might boil a few more eggs, like 3 or 4 and discard the whites, use the yolks to add in with the filling. Can't think of anything else, to save it
Good Luck

there are a lot of different varieties to deviled eggs (like the other people said - bacon, brown mustard, minced onion, tabasco, etc.) i personally think that the simplest ones taste the best! hard boil the eggs (im sure you know how to do this but i found that the best method is the place the eggs in a pot and cover with water, bring to a boil and then turn off the heat and let it sit on the stove for 20 minutes, after that cover them with cold water and then they are ready to peel! - also another tip - if you put a little bit of salt in the water it makes it much easier to peel) peel and cut the eggs length wise, scoop out the yolk mash the yolk with mayo and yellow mustard (if you want to make them really smooth you can use a hand held mixer, otherwise you can just use a fork and spoon) - and obviously if you want to add any other ingredient you do it here too pipe or spoon the mixture into the whites and sprinkle with paprika! hope this helps! =)

I made that mistake before. I balanced it with sugar and white vinegar and no body knew the difference. I was quite pleased because I figured it out on my own. So just in case it might happen again I know what to do. I would use 1/3 cup of sugar and 2 tbl spoons of vinegar to a little at a time to make it taste right to your liking. The sugar and vinegar balances the over kill of the salt. Good luck! Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family! :)

Redoing it will be a hassle! Just try to fix it up a bit, but I'm sure it'll still be too much...thats why you should always have a good drink on your side! being completely healthy seems important here. In this situtation I always drink Crystal Light. It tastes great, comes in many flavors, and its actually healthy! Who would think such a combination is possible! Double the recipe, and leave out the salt on the next batch of filling.
OR
Ditch half the filling, and sub w/ new yolks.
(Either way....get to boiling more eggs!)

The only way to save it would be to add more of the other ingredients so that your salt is less as a percent of the whole.
If you put in way too much salt, it may be better to start over.

Boil up more eggs and add that yolk to the mix. More egg yolk will dilute the salt.

Try adding some sweet pickle relish. If not, I would cook more eggs and use the yolks -- you can use the whites for some other dish later on.
