Uncracked eggs will last for over a month in the refridgerator. If they've been cooked, a week is about as long as you want to keep them.

Eggs are dated on the package.

Usually, you can find eggs with a date weeks out into the future.

So, generally speaking, a typical purchase of eggs with a date weeks out, can last a week or more in the refrigerator.

Yes, it's the eggs stuck in the chicken for a week that you wouldn't want to eat. Sorry... can't help it.

From what I've read 3 weeks is about as long as you can go. I'm not talking about cooked eggs, though.
