Aim for the sky, you may hit the ceiling.
Aim for the ceiling, you will fall flat on your face.
There is no harm in aiming high, but do it for people, not to win a golden ticket.

I am constantly at war with my flesh. This has always bugged me- but I know this happens, but I also know with Jesus Christ I can overcome it. And that I am forgiven. I know I have many faults- and there are many things I want the Lord to change in me- and I know it make take a lifetime! But I love the Lord God with all my heart, soul, mind and strength and the only good in me is Jesus living in me. I DEFINATELY accept that! I accept HIM!

We Can't be perfect, we're human. Jesus is perfect and we should try to be like Him but don't expect to reach His perfection.

I believe the word you're looking for is "accept", not "except". And you're human. It's how God made you. Accept his work of art that is you.

You must know that He has excepted you if you are born again... If God can except you you must learn to be like Him.... Jim

"accept"
If I am doing the best I can, I know I can't do any more, so how could I not accept myself?
