You will automatically be Christ like if you have the mind of Christ as we were all created to have. It is a choice so in order to operate as we should then we must choose to. We were made in God's image, every one of us. Jesus came here as the only begotten Son of God to be a barometer as to how we should be. We all have a character created by God also and that is in the soul realm. It is either fed by the flesh and the World, or it is fed by the spiritman that is a reflection of the God. The issues about titles for sexual preference is really a non-issue, because if your character is based on your sexuality then it ain't based on the reflection within. The flesh can desire a lot of things that it feels may make it happy, but flesh desires are but a tempory fix based on a false reality. You really don't know how you are going to feel tomorrow unless you are creating your own character. If God is running the show you are brand new moment to moment and day to day.To think that anything is going to make you feel the same way it did in the past is only guessing at the best. God does not have to base your character on guessing games, He knows what you were created to be. It is Christ like and in His Spirit, playing with a full deck at all times.
Peace

I pray to be Christlike. It is my desire. Of course being human and the flesh taking hold of me at times, I can be anything but Christlike. However it is my goal to be more like Jesus Christ- I pray that He will fill me with his Spirit and JOY and love for others always. This day and age it gets hard sometimes to show love- because we all seem stressed out or hurried. Those who continually bash homosexuality should not show that self righteousness- I of course do believe it is a sin- But you should not walk around telling those who are gay that they are going to Hell. Rather speak the truth in Love! Jesus tells us to love our enemies- This does not mean become best friends with them- but show them love....If somebody curses at you- do not curse back- smile instead. This is hard for a lot of people. But it goes along with "Turn the other cheek"
--Those who belong to Christ, should walk in his foosteps and this is LIFELONG process, because we are still attacked by the flesh so much- where as Jesus had no sin. But I love that Jesus says "Apart from Me you can do nothing" --so true! It is Jesus in us that brings out any good in us~ Praise be to Him!

Christians are not perfect....just forgiven!
You must understand that people who commit sins are forgiven by God if they ask. God loves the person not the sin.
Remember that no one sin is worse than another. They are equal in weight.

Are you christ-like ?
Are you joseph smith like ?
Are you mohhamed like ?
Are you pope-like ?
Are you buddha-like ?
Etc. Etc. Etc.
Or are you simply being yourself, who
you are really meant to be like.
All people should simply Love and accept themselves, for who they are, and stop trying to be like someone else!!
Your true identity lies within yourself !!
Good Question, THANK YOU !!
