US immigration officials should take a look at those. If Mexico wants to be that harsh to other country's citizens, well by golly, we should be that harsh to theirs! Maybe then we won't have so many Mexican migrant workers crossing over our border illegally to get free education, free medical care and free housing.

If it is true (A link would be nice) it is no surprise. I know Mexico is much harder than the US on immigrants. The hilarious part is the Mexican government thinks we should lighten up our rules?
In the end, it does not matter what other country's laws are or their people think of our laws. What matters is that the citizens of this country want our immigration laws strengthened and enforced. The rest is just smoke and needs to be ignored. It's none of their business what are laws are here unless they want to come here, which they are welcome to do...under the terms of our laws.

I knew of these laws because I researched them.I wanted to know things about Mexico so that when I wrote something I had facts to back it up.I see nothing wrong with them we should use them as our own immigration laws. They treat their illegals as felons and they are lucky if they can make it out of the country without being robbed, beaten, raped or all three.I don't think the US should do that to illegal aliens but I do like the laws on legal immigration.

When you ask your question you probably ought to point out that these are your idea of new immigration policies. I was born in TN and have lived in this country all of my life (so I would be able to buy waterfront property) and your anti immigrant, narrow minded rant is nothing new at all.
You point out, as do so many others that these are Mexico's immigration laws. What is your point? We are not Mexico, we are the United States of America. We have proudly gone our own way for over 200 years. Surely you do not want the immigration laws of Mexico to change who we are?

Perhaps the best way of dealing with immigration is to go back in time (cave), having territorial rules.
I say if you want to prevent other to come here, then we must take our nose out of someone else business and places.
