I currently live in St. Ives Cornwall & have been offered a job promotion in Wrexham, I have never been here before - Is it nice?, What is its + points?
Where are the nice areas (and areas to avoid)?
Any local knowledge / info. please?

I think the best thing to say about it is that it is OK.

Its in a nice location, near the Welsh hills and Chester, but not a great deal goes on there really.

Its a quietish town, nice enough people, pretty safe to live.....................its OK.

I have to say that you'll be pining to get back to the light and air of St. Ives after a while - unless you're sick of tourists that is !

You really should take a look up there before you accept a job and a relocation.

I used to live in a little village called Rossett just outside of Wrexham - definatly commutable - they were the happiest years of my childhood...

I live near to Whitchurch and I love shopping there. I also like Oswestry, Ellesmere and of course Shrewsbury. I don't live that far from Wrexam.
