You may well be pregnant, and if your period is not due, then you could be having a miscarriage, very scary to go through on your own, tell your parents. It could also be a stomach ulcer, again, once the bleeding has started like this then you need to seek some sort of help. Have you been injured at all? Any other symptons you're going through? (e.g. diarrhea? vomiting? missed period? tender breasts? ) Best to either tell your parents you're not feeling well and get them to take you to the dr, if you don't want to go into details with them then at least you can tell your doc all about it. Good luck

Is it your period? If you're a female and you're a pre-teen or a teenager or older it's most likely your period (menstruation). It's completely normal and happens to all females once they reach puberty -- it's one of the changes your body goes through as you get older and your body starts to become more grown-up. You bleed for a few days every month or so. Cramps are normal. You should talk to your parents or another adult so they can answer your questions and help you get the products you need. Look up "menstruation" on the Internet if you need more information.
If you already know all this and are positive that the bleeding you're experiencing is NOT your normal monthly period, you should still talk to your parents or a trusted adult, because you may want to see a doctor.

Tell your parents so they can take you to a doctor to get examined. Unless you are a menstruating woman, blood in your underpants is not a normal thing. You could have a serious medical condition, like ulcerative colitis, or a bleeding ulcer which needs treatment so it doesn't get worse. Ignoring the problem will not make it go away. You parents love you and want you to be healthy, so please tell them.

Hon,
First of all, calm down. Worry isn't going to help, and don't be embarrised.
Secondly, if you're in your teens and haven't started your period yet, this sounds like you have. I don't know your age, but I can tell you while you may have cramps, it's nothing to worry about. Talk to your mom, this is something normal, and she can help you to get pads or whatever you need to protect your underclothing. It doesn't last long, 4 days to a week at most.
Now, If you're way past all this, and already have been dealing with periods, then you need to tell someone. Pull your mom aside and let her know, this is important, especially if this something different than the start of a period. Just calm down. Chances are it's nothing, but your mom needs to know.

never be embarrassed to tell your parents anything. If you started your period she can get you something for the cramps to make it easier.
