Depends on the starting weight.

Diet and exercise are the key. A sensible amount of food and aerobic activity and you're on your way.

Lose 10 pounds in 2 weeks??

There are some websites on the Internet, which promise you that you are going to lose 10 pounds in every 2 weeks. If you are good in math you will find that keeping these stats in mind, 260 pounds in a year. Losing 260 pounds is the figure, which is unbelievable and unexpected.

This kind of claims are planned just to cause clients to make impulsive decisions. When you gain weight, did you gained around 50 minds in two months? Certainly not. We gain weight in weight in small parts, which add up to our weight. This keeps on increasing with time.

I think you get what I mean to say. We normally gain weight in grams like 65 gram per week. With this stat you are going to gain around 7 pounds at the end of year.

This weight is so slow that you cannot measure it weekly. But in fur years you are going to gain around 28 pounds.

So how can you expect this weight to go in few days? You are going to lose the way you have gained it. So it will take time to lose weight. So you have to start losing weight systematically. You can lose weight by developing the good eating habits in you and nutritious foods.

You might think about trying this book called "The Movie Star Diet" by Steve Simmons. It helped me lose thirty pounds in 2 1/2 months when I didn't think anything would work. My goal to begin with was only 20 lbs! It has a really easy plan to follow and an excellent workout as well.

It is possible, a nutritionist in California gave me this diet before spring break, i got rid of 36 pounds in 4 weeks exactly. The diet:
>breakfast: 1 160 calorie "slim fast" milkshake(any flavor)
>lunch: 1 160 calorie "slim fast milkshake(any flavor) and a sandwish(thin sliced cut wheat bread, 1 slice of turkey ham, 1 slice of white low cal cheese, low on mayonese and/or mustard)
>diner: green only salad with vinegar, salt and pepper
>drink an excess of water and that will wash your system which will help you get rid of extra punds and it will reduce your hunger.
This diet is healthy and it will make you drop the pounds, and after you have dropped them you can go to your normal eating but with some measurement, not exceeding on the amounts. If you follow this I garantee you will lose the 30 or more ponds in a month.

Good carbs like celery and carrots will never make you fat. Bad carbs like cake will, but you don't need to know the whole science of glycemic index and load. It is mostly NOT your fault, if you need to lose weight. The way we have been taught to eat is responsible for making obesity the number one health problem in the world (according to Atlantic Monthly magazine) replacing hunger and infectious disease. You need to re-learn how to eat so you can become thin and healthy. Not a diet, but diet lifestyle.

Find out about fastest way to lose weight, gradual ways to lose weight, most effective exercise, good and bad carbs and anti-water. Lose bodyfat and retained water which also makes you a lot fatter (bloated). Links page has gov. BMI calculater to find out just how much overweight you are (teens plug in your age to compare to others your age). Get latest info like American Heart Association does not want you to eat more than 6 ounces daily of meat, fish or poultry. Most important-- make sure to read the last "fat loss tip", first before anything else, to see the number one food that causes Americans to be fat.

There is no healthy way to lose that much weight in that amount of time. Also a rule to remember in any diet or pills they advertise. The quicker you take off the weight the quicker it comes back and it usually brings back a few friends (i.e. a few more pounds)

Try finding a good diet and exerise plan and sticking to it gradually taking of 1-5 pounds a week. (everyone is diff but if you weigh more your going to take off more, also the first few weeks you take of more due to water weight) Try Weight Watchers I have had several friends have total success with that program and it's easy.

Possibly if you got one of those bands on your stomach. Or did an extreme liquid fast...but you should ideally lose 2 lb. a week at most or you risk health problems. Really. Your body needs fuel to work and by depriving it you change your body's chemical balances...you could easily wind up in the hospital! Don't try to lose that much at once. Go slowly.
