I turn on the computer and everything loads, then The AOL screen pops up. I dont use aol anymore and i want to stop that. it slows down the whole computer. i have a hp pavillion dv8000. any help is greatly appriciated.

Go to the control panel, then to add/remove programs. Select AOL and uninstall EVERYTHING.

Click start, go to run and type in "msconfig" minus the "s then click startup on the top tab and uncehck AOL

start>all programs>startup delete it from there never use msconfig
