my question is can a body fluid ( urine , semen ) stay infectious after it has been on a surface for more than 24 hrs

Im scared coz yesterday at work there appeared to be something "wet" on one of the keys i feared it to be the eorst eg. urine or semen, now that it may have dried overnight, im scared if i touch keys now, can it cause an infection ??

If you are seriously worried about urine or semen being on your keyboard at work you need to quit right away and find another job.

Flu virus can live two weeks on a bare surface, AIDS lives 24 hours. Cold viruses live about 3 days. Your best bet is to carry one of those bottles of alcohol gel with you to rub on your hands.

It depends on what kind of disease it it contaminated with.
