As to prophecy of David Matt.22:42-44; Acts 2:27-35; the event would occur, as to the expectations of the apostles Rom.16:20; Heb.1:13; the event would occur, as to the prophecy of Daniel in Dan.12:1-13 the time of the end, or the end time event would occur and as to John in Revelations Rev.12:3,4,6-11,12 the world sure does have the word to tell of this end time event when Satan has a short time in history, but how long did Jesus have to wait for this event to occur?
What can the short time be, not day or hour, but a length of time in history, does any prophecy tell?
Can any two people ever agree on Jesus did wait?
The event did happen when?
Then how long is the wait, but not the day and hour?

The Second Coming of Jesus Christ is the hope of believers that God is in control of all things, and is faithful to the promises and prophecies in His Word. In His first coming, Jesus Christ came to earth as a baby in a manager in Bethlehem, just as prophesied. Jesus fulfilled many of the prophecies of the Messiah during His birth, life, ministry, death, and resurrection. However, there are some prophecies regarding the Messiah that Jesus has not, as of yet, fulfilled. The Second Coming of Christ will be the return of Christ to fulfill these remaining prophecies. In His first coming, Jesus was the suffering servant. In His Second Coming, Jesus will be the conquering King. In His first coming, Jesus arrived in the most humble of circumstances. In His Second Coming, Jesus will arrive with the armies of Heaven at His side.

The Old Testament Prophets did not make this distinction between the two comings. This can be seen in Scriptures such as Isaiah 7:14; 9:6-7; and Zechariah 14:4. As a result of the prophecies seeming to speak of two individuals, many Jewish scholars believed there would be both a suffering Messiah and a conquering Messiah. What they failed to understand is that the same Messiah would fulfill both roles. Jesus fulfilled the role of the suffering servant (Isaiah chapter 53) in His first coming. Jesus will fulfill the role of Israel’s deliverer and King in His Second Coming. Zechariah 12:10 and Revelation 1:7, describing the Second Coming, look back to Jesus being pierced. Israel, and the whole world, will mourn for not having accepted the Messiah the first time He came.

After Jesus ascended into Heaven, the angels declared to the apostles, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into the sky? This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in just the same way as you have watched Him go into heaven” (Acts 1:11). Zechariah 14:4 identifies the location of the Second Coming as the Mount of Olives. Matthew 24:30 declares, “At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory.” Titus 2:13 describes the Second Coming as a “glorious appearing.”

The Second Coming is spoken of in greatest detail in Revelation 19:11-16, "And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and He who sat on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and wages war. His eyes are a flame of fire, and on His head are many diadems; and He has a name written on Him which no one knows except Himself. He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. And the armies which are in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, were following Him on white horses. From His mouth comes a sharp sword, so that with it He may strike down the nations, and He will rule them with a rod of iron; and He treads the wine press of the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty. And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name written, "KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS."

Until the time comes for Him to return- He will return for His sheep- (rapture them) and then the tribulation will begin.
-The end times- Jesus will also come again after the rapture and this will be his second coming- see Revelation 19 and 20. This is when the battle of Armageddon will take place- Then there will a thousand year reign here on earth- And Satan will be locked up for a short time- but then released to deceive again. And after that He is thrown into the lake of fire- And those whose names are not written in the book of life are also thrown- those who followed Him and the beast ( the anti christ) and the false prophet will be thrown into the lake of fire- this is judgment. Then there will be a new heaven and a new earth. -Last book of Revelation. Jesus HAS the VICTORY in the end! PRAISE GOD!

Jesus says: "No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father." Matthew 24:36. As the Bible tells in in several places, it's going to be a terrible day.

I see you have done your homework and a good job at that.
The reason you cannot find an answer is because quoting Jesus
"Only the Father knows". This is just one of the proofs that Jesus is not the Almighty God, that so many mistake him to be. It is his place as God's son to do God's will. He did state that, I'm sure you know it.
I did enjoy the question though..............

in case you ask the Mormons, they had say He got here back in the Americas. in case you question me, no. The Holy Spirit isn't Jesus Christ (in the style you mean), yet Christ's coming did enable for the arriving of the Holy Spirit. for this reason we are no longer cautioned to take plenty, as in the previous testomony, we are in a position to have direct guidance from God throughout the time of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is a element of the Holy Trinity that makes up God. How i glance at this is that Christ is the know-how, like our voice, how we exhibit ourselves. The Holy Spirit is like our soul, our spirit. the daddy is like our guy or woman hood, our physique, our strategies, our being. we are 3 factors mixed to be a single guy or woman, as is God. He made us in His very own image, after all. God is in a position to divide Himself into the trinity, the place we are no longer because of the fact he's not chained to this single airplane of existence. He has no human obstacles. wish this helps.

No one knows when He will come, but He will. I personally believe we still have several thousand years to go. God loves man and He wants to make lots more before He declares the end.

Paul said when they cry Peace and Security, then the end will come.

Though many leaders have said it in their speeches. We are waiting for the fulfillment of this part of the final days.
