When rich and popular American women act like whores in public are they helping to destroy the US culture?

They are making it hard for all women. I really irks me when they act like it is OK to be whores because they come from money & look good. People get their ideas about America from the press and therefore we are all percieved to be whores in other countries & it isn't fair! There are plenty of women who don't act like this but you can forget about anyone believing it, they saw it on tv so it must be true.

This is a country of hypocrites and it is also a country of sheep. We are too lazy to think for ourselves, so we watch CNN to find out how we should think about some issue or another. We all want to say we are tolerant of others, but are we really? Or more to the truth do we think we want to be tolerant on paper, but God forbid we actually live next door to a gay couple, or worse yet, be friends with them and find out they are no different than most heterosexual couples? We do not want to be materialistic, but we have so many malls, and our greed is not only encouraged, it is outright rewarded. People who should have never had mortgages in the first place were being given the keys to houses they could not afford and now that the housing market has crashed, everyone is busy blaming everyone else. Oh, this country is tearing itself to pieces all right, and at the heart of it is that everyone has stopped caring about what made this country great, and is now so concerned with running our agenda everywhere. The elected officials do not do very much to ease everyone's state either. We are embroiled in possibly the worst crisis this country has ever seen and all we can do is point the finger and blame each other

They definately destray the culter. Those women give us hard working coorperate women, and some are mothers, ( some even single mothers), very bad names.
It's hard trying to build a name for my self in this world, and then to go home and be expected to do what those pornn stars do. Be treated like a peice of meat by a man, who at the same time expects me to clean his house, burth and raise his children, cook his meals. D^MN!!

I believe it really does put women who are working towards making a difference in government and politics back. Having women acting so immaturely in the spotlight distract attention from the role models young girls really need.

I assume you are talking about people like Brittney Spears? They do this to sell their music. They don't care if someone thinks they look like White Trash as long as people buy their CDs. Also Mattel (I think that's who makes these dolls) has those stupid Bratz dolls that look like little prostitutes. It makes little girls want to wear make-up and dress older than they are. Most rich American women are classy dressers. Melinda Gates would NEVER wear something like Brittney Spears.
