I put this in R&S because this is where it occurs more often than not.

This is how I see it, and it is very obvious what is happening, some behave like little kids, they do it as a form of retaliation because they feel angered that you just did not share the same belief, or better yet the question was challengig their belief and proved a point so they report it.
A product of ignorance, and stupidity.

edit: that happens also with the thumbs down , the question maybe a great question or answer, but because it did not refect their belief they thumb it down. It is very obvious why they are doing it.

Actually the rules say that you can report someone for simply asking any question that is not 100% logically stated as a question without sounding conversational.

So by asking for peoples thoughts we are in violation of the guild lines. Therefore they can report all they want........besides it's a great honor to God to stretch the truth so you can be just in your judgment of others. And God knows no one is more judgmental than Churchies

The real question is "Why is Yahoo so stupid to set up that kind of a rule and then make a religious section.?" There is no logical and 100 % accuracy in religion!!

The same reason why you can lose your job if your not of a religion your employer considered acceptable. The same reason why shops get blocked out and shut down because they don't conform to the local church.

It's about power. You're right, everyone is wrong, and to hell with them if they don't repent.

I guess you could call it a " God " complex.

Fear baby! Always remember the old gypsy saying: "A barking dog is a frightened dog"... The ones who are the most judgemental, abusive and aggressive are the same muthas that go and report everything.

We have all been attacked by people like that. Brush it off. We will never know why everyone does everything they do. There are those who live for God and those who live to be evil.

It's a viscious circle. Believers do it because it makes them feel like their vindictive god, so the rest do it as spite

because, when someone finally comes across a question that they realize they cant answer. instead of coming to terms they block it out, and try to remove the question. i think it offends them that you've pointed out their lack of knowledge to a particular subject.

Well some people (Demorats/atheist, etc.) can't stand up to criticisms. Others, answer in such obnoxious, offending ways that they need to be flogged.
