Not necessarily. I know of some Christians who are persecuted because they are jerks. Then, when they complain, they use "it's because I'm a Christian" as their defense.

No. I could be persecuted for picking my nose, but that doesn't mean I am doing the lords work. Anyone can be persecuted for anything, so persecution isn't a sign that you are doing the God's work.

No it just means you are weird base on the standards of the group persecuting you. You action itself needs to be compared to good works to figure if it's godly.

It is not if you are persecuted...it is for what cause are you persecuted? If it is because you believe in God and are trying to teach the gospel to others, then yes you are doing God's work. If you're persecuted for being a homosexual, murderer, rapist, etc., then no.

No, wicked people have been persecuted as well. People accused of being witches have been persecuted, Satanists have been persecuted, as well as atheists and heretics. Any group that is different from the norm has been persecuted.

By being persecuted are we talking about being occasionally laughed at because you are a christian or just a dork, by a bully at school? Or burnt at the stake because you refused to give up your belief in Christ?

Not Necessarily, it means you are going through Spiritual warfare, Paul wrote that he fought the good fight , he finished the race he kept the faith, he didnt say he won it, Christianity is not about being perfect, Christ won perfection for us on the cross, it is about completing the race and the fight, you dont have to win it, but you have to finish it
