My little girl, almost 2, looks so uncomforable when she is sleeping. She sleeps just fine though, but when are they ready for a pillow. And is there any specific type of pillow for kids?

My son has had his own pillow since he was about one year. His doctor told me it was fine and if he was sick, I could even use two pillows to prop him up so he could breathe better. I chose to give him one that was not so fluffy, but one that was kind of thin. he is almost three and never has had any problems. :)

Give her one now. Sheesh she would love a pillow and theres nothing wrong with that. If she gets her head covered she is completly able to move the pillow and wake up so if thats what you are worried about she will be just fine. We have four boys and our boys have had pillows since about 15 months.

They make little pillows (and pillow cases). I gave my daughter one at 12 months old (the same time i put her in a toddler bed. Then at 18 months i bought her a regular full sized pillow. She loves it.

If your child has no problem moving her head and can get up on her own that should be fine!My daughter was about 15 mths when I gave her a pillow,and she did fine!!

we got my son his pillow when he crawled out of the crib and it was time for a toddler bed. I have to admit, I don't think he's ever used it for more than a few minutes.

I gave my daughter a pillow when she got out of her crib. about 18 months.

My daughter has used a pillow sence she was born.She first had a regular sized one and does great with it.We tryed a small one but she did not like it.
