I want to trace my family name Qureshi- which I believe signifies Arab descent. Anyone know how I can do this?

Pakistani's are a cross breed between Semetic and Indian. Your name could be Arab or one of a host of other Semetic peoples.
One thing to remember - the name you have may not be the name of your paternal side progenitors. People change their names for many reasons.

well there are a lot of Qureshis, so u can never be sure.. there are many people who just take up a certain name simply coz they like it and it becomes their family name

assuming that no such even happened in your entire ancestry, ur ancestors were definitely arabs..

Qureshi comes from the tribe of Quresh or Mecca

u r rite, the name is of Arab descent. The Qureshi (Quresh) were a noble and pious group. Infact the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) is also desended from them.
I have tried to find links for u but have not been able to - sorry...
