my boyfriend did't get me anything for my birthday or even really do anything for it. do i come flat out and let him know that i'm hurt by it? or do i just let it slide? this is the last birthday i will have while he's here...he's going to kuwait soon. and it's not like he didn't have any money either...what do i do?

Of couse you need to let him know that it is hurting you. This is a very important part of a relationship. Maybe he did not do anything becacuse he forgot. That does happen because HE IS A GUY. Let him know and see what he says. If he does not react to then tell him to "take a hike" and you can move on to find someone who actually cares about you.

No money? Let him know that it hurt you that he couldn't at least make it a day to remember with his affection for you of some sort!! But do not be upset that he didn't buy ya nothing!! My husband and I never buy anything for each other because it is just a waste of money. But we do eat a good meal at home and spend our love on each other.....

aww i can tell that would really hurt!! thats really sad for a boyfriend of all people to forget it! if he just didnt do anything sorry but i think he needs to go if he cant even say happy birthday!! but maybe he forgot you should just tell him and see how he responds...if hes truthfull and says omg im really sorry i forgot then hes a goodguy if not then just tell him this isnt working

Yes let him know flat out......it hurt your feelings............Just because he is going away....does not mean your birthday didn't happen....because he is going away should have been a good excuse for you two to celebrate together......
Something special would have been nice......

I'd let him know it hurt. Maybe he is distracted by what's coming up for him. (Has he been better for past b-days?) Something is up. Talk to him and find out what it is.
