It depends on how old they are. If they are under 5 they do have a low attention spanned. So the things I always do is take them for walks and try to keep them moving. It gives them a chance to see several different things, and you can also point some things out. Some other things are puzzles, hide and seek, co lour, read books and put on a puppet play. And one more thing crafts.

It really depends on the age of the children and their interests. Since the holidays are upon us now, making some kind of decoration suitable for the holiday would be cool. Maybe xmas ornaments, thanksgiving decorations or maybe New Years stuff. there are sooo many things that I could mention. Check online at nickelodeon.com for some ideas.
Children LOVE to help make things too, so, if you are making a snack, let them join in and help with it. Make sure that you have them help with things that don't let them cut with a knife though. Hope this was some help.

I would recommend a children's museum, full of lots of things for them to touch and play with, especially if they are between 2-5 years of age. If the weather is nice, the zoo is fun, or any large playground. If you choose a playground, pick one with shade for you, and one which is surrounded, at least partially, by a fence. That way, you can keep an eye on them, but not have to be on top of them. They need to run around and just be kids. Just remember that you have to offer variety. For example, if you go to one park, next time choose a different one. Good luck.

Why not plan some activities, such as small art projects like:
Making a turkey (arts & craft):
http://www.enchantedlearning.com/crafts/thanksgiving/handfoot/
Some things you can print out, make multiple copies and let them color:
http://www.dltk-holidays.com/thanksgiving/mthanksgivingposter.html
Why not use those turkeys they made and make a little turkey play (lol), let them decide how the story should go
You can use this link as well for another holiday such as Christmas (just browse around and choose what you like):

Aside from those listed above, play some games to get them stimulated. Have fun!!

depends on their ages.....color, sing songs, play games, teach them numbers/colors/shapes,etc, play chase(kids love to burn energy), engage in conversation with all of them(it enhances social skills), wrestle with them(if they're boys)...man this list in limitless. The best thing to do is put yourself in the mind frame of whatever age these children are. They have short attention spans, so dont try one activity for too long. Use your imagination! if i knew their age, i could help a little better, but, hope this helps.....

If you have a tape recorder or a microphone on your computer you can make a tape or a CD with the kids. Make a big deal out of it and they'll love it. They can sing, tell jokes, whatever. Every kid I've done that with has absolutely loved it.

Listen to music and dance. Sing songs, arts and crafts, read books, build a fort, make homemade play-doh, let them help make a snack, hide and seek, if it is nice outside go play soccer or baseball or football.

You can look up kids' crafts on the Internet and you could work on those. They are pretty easy and mostly require stuff you already have.
