Well Jesus and God are real and how can you update the bible when everything in it has not came to past yet. Like when Jesus comes back for those that believe and live for him. You still have time. But I can't tell you how long. Live today as though it was your last.

Why would they need to update it when the things in the bible or still playing out today. The bible stands for Be Informed Before Leaving Earth. There is no need to update the rules of life because it still applies in todays world. God speaks of gay people, wars, everything was already prophisized. God does'nt need to update he knows what's going to happen before it happens so he never has to update anything. He is God the Alpha and the Omega.Read the book of Revelations.

There is no need to. It is complete and thorough

2 Timothy 3:16 says - All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It straightens us out and teaches us to do what is right.

Every issue that you come face to face with, there is guidance in the Bible to deal with. It speaks to everyone right where they are.
Sometimes I wonder how the ink can be dry, it speaks so clearly about what happened to me only a moment ago.

Jesus said he was the first and the last, the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. Nothing else needs to be said because all that is in the Bible is all that we need until we see Christ face to face - The Living Word.

God bless you.

The bibles primary purpose is to reveal Gods plan of salvation and that will never need undating :-)

Another example is that the bible contains things like medical and sanitary knowledge in Ancient Egypt that is still useful today and the more it's examined, the more man finds in the bible. IRecently found was mathematical designs and codes so complex no man or computer could have ever produced them. More is revealed daily.

The Bible is not updated with time because " heaven and earth will pass away but God's Word will not pass away .
Matthew 24:35 . So His Word endures forever ,It outlives this earth and universe so it does'nt need an update . And God is real , its foolish to think otherwise.

How would you update it? You can't change the bible that is an unforgivable sin. The bible is already perfect, it tells us all we need to know, how to solve problems how to behave how to love our enemy and our neighbors There is no up dating the bible that is what man tries to do and so many lost people are following the false preachers beware if man teaches you and cannot give you scripture and verse in the bible then he is teaching you wrong

The 'good book' says God is onipresent soooooo
all the things the founding fathers did (marry half-sister, commit attempted murder, murder, polygamy, try swapping your daughters to a crazed mob instead of some (male) strangers) were classified as 'just'; it should pertain to todays society as is; therefore, update's should not be necessary-what was then should be the same now
Oh! Girls-Remember, we're unclean after giving birth and our menstruation cycle is really nature's way of letting out evil spirits.

Not a bad question. A lot has changed since the days of the Bronze Age. One would think that God might want to do something about some of those rediculous superstitions that simply don't apply to modern day anymore...or maybe put an end to the religious bickering over dogma for once and for all.
