I'm confused. If he's not right for you, then why do you love him? Does he make you happy now? Why do you doubt him so much?
The beauty of healthy long term relationships is that both parties move towards each other. He'll compromise as you will. If he loves you, he will do what ever he can to make sure you are happy.
