Ticks will settle anywhere on the body. My son had one right at his hairline on the back of his neck. If you have one, you can coat it with petroleum jelly, nail polish or grease. Then use tweezers to remove them, not bare fingers. Wash the area and make sure you got the entire tick out.

They will dig in anywhere possible...however, warm, moist areas seem to be more prone.
They will settle on any mammal. When coming back from being in a wooded area, you need to be checked over from head to toe. Your critters, too.

Sure thing. any place dark. in your ears,head, navel, armpit, any part of your body thats covered with clothing. they don't like wet spots.
