I'm sorry....did the Romans come back into power?
Did you see a flaming Christian on a stick this morning on the way to work?
Did you get fed to lions?
NO THEN SHUT UP!
Oh and have a nice day!

Where have you been for the last two thousand years ? Christians were persecuted by the Romans, but not much since, so far as I've noticed.
Okay, victory belongs to God - - - but he wasn't Jesus' father. If I remember my church sermons, Mary was impregnated by a ghost. The ghost was the father. So, it happens to the best of them.

We Christians in America aren't the ones being persecuted. There are Christians in third world countries being killed for their belief in God.

That is the most brain dead concept and I though it had disappeared centuries ago. It is what they used to kill people by the millions. If you kill them before they can commit an sin then they are saved - SO LETS KILL THEM ALL. Pope Innocence the 3rd slaughtered people all across Europe for 30 years with that attitude. Even people praying in church. He said god will know his own and the rest are defilers. I can't believe some one in this century still has that idiot thought.

Um, I don't believe very many Xians are killed in American society. In other countries, maybe, but a lot of people seem to be killed for a lot of reasons that have nothing to do with Xianity.
I'm thankful that you crazy Christians are not allowed to burn people at stake or hang anyone anymore. Back in the day, 'Christians' came up with nightmarish torture devices. Research the Medieval period.

Persecution isn't a blessing. But all things work for the Good for those who trust in the Lord Jesus.
Who is He who overcomes? He who is born of God. What is our victory? Our faith.
Jesus has already overcome death & hell for us. We are already inheriting everlasting life and every spiritual blessing.
Persecution is just Satans way to quiet the Christians so he can destroy as much as he can. But if we as Christians never deny our faith, satan doesn't have a victory even if he kills us through others.

What a Christian considers "persecution" wouldn't pass for a "mild annoyance" anywhere else in the known universe.
When Christians start to be treated the way that they treated others for hundreds of years, THEN they can call themselves persecuted.
Oh, and by the way, it should be "persecution of WE Christians".
Feeling persecuted enough now?

Satan no longer needs to kill our flesh.
We have moral relativism. If it feels moral, then its moral. That will kill the soul.
Contraception and abortion have always gone hand in hand. Human life becomes a cheap commodity in the labratory with test tube babies, in vitro fertilization, certain stem cell research. How dare anyone impose upon anothers right to kill!!? It's all relative!!!
There are enough dead babies from abortion in America alone to fill the Rose Bowl Stadium. I wonder what God thinks about that?

ask the Jews who lived in Eastern Europe during the 1930's & 1940's what persecution is.
Jesus would be ashamed of how his message has been corrupted.

In all seriousness, when was the last time the Christians were persecuted in this country? Real persecution, not 'please don't say lead your kindergarten class in prayer, some of them are Jewish'.
