There is an adjustment period, and it does depend on the cats.
There will be some hissing and growling involved, so long as there aren't any fights that include blood, they should find their own way to get used to each other.

In April, I brought in an adult male into a house of 1 adult female and 1 adult male. Honestly, it was probably the easiest transistion ever in my life! I've allowed everyone to just find their own way with each other and it took about 4 weeks for everyone to be cool.

Good luck!

Cats are territorial and with the new kitten, the 2 males probably don't know what to make of it. Have you tried seperating them so they get used to each other's scents first?

Don't forget to give your new kitten a safe room! That's important. I didn't know that at first. I made the mistake of letting my new kitten run free the second I brought her in the house and my other kitten instantly went after the new one. I seperated them for about 2 weeks only letting them get used to each other between doors and then I started on supervised visits. When they were able to do that, I was finally able to trust that they would both refrain from attacking each other. Now they're best friends.

If you want some helpful pointers (I used it as a guide when introducing my kittens) go to http://www.perfectpaws.com/intro.html

Good luck and I hope they can all get along! =)

Although cats are very territorial, they do adjust, you will see hissing, and batting, but it's ok. It may take your adult cats a few months before you start to see any type of relationship between the adults and the kitten, but trust me when I say a bond will eventually form. Your adult cats may even start to become more energetic and play with the new kitty. Make sure you are giving them all equal attention and treats. You may also find that the kitten will be very annoying to the adults, but not to fret, this will only help bond them. Good luck with your new kitty!!

It can take a year or more for some cats to become accustomed to one another. Some take to each other right away, but it can take a long time. Some cats just never really accept any new introductions either. Just have to give it a long time and watch them closely.

It can seriously depend on your cats.

With mine, it took just over a week, but with different cats it will be different amounts of time.

Best to do, is let them get used to each other, and if they become vicious or a little too rough, seperate them.

Other than that, they'll get used to each other eventually.

In my own opinion, i think they just need to spend a little time together then they will eventually grow with each other. That's how its been with my cat and dog, now they're like best friends!
