Hi, It could be hemorrhoids. They itch like crazy at all times of the day. Pin worms(found in children more than adults) itch primarily at night. I would put my money on hemorrhoids.I don't think it is a yeast infection. Yeast is usually found in folds of skin and exudes an opaque, cheesy discharge.

Your body has a balance of bacteria and yeast. When one gets out of balance there can be problems. Low bacteria allows yeast to grow, sometimes out of control.
If you think you have a yeast infection and it's your first one, go to your doctor.
Some things to try:
Sleep like Eve - all natural (if you can)
When you swim, once out of the water (for good) get showered and changed.
Working out? Get showered and changed as soon as you finish. Sitting around in a wet swim suit or moist workout clothes helps the yeast grow.
If you are taking an antibiotic, it's a good idea if you can tolerate yogurt to eat some daily. (And if you are on the pill, don't forget to use another type of birth control - ask your doctor.)

Hope that helps.

Yeast infection is a fingal infection. It makes your skin red, sore, itchy and sometimes split and bleed.
Canesten is a white cream in a red and white tube which will clear that kind of fungal infection if you apply it after showering about twice a day for about 2 or 3 days.
Don't use it too long or your skin will get sore and red from the Canesten.
Don't worry if your skin looks redder when you stop, that is the effect of the Canesten and will clear in a few hours.
If you use it on your foreskin take care as it can cause the skin to dry and split if you use it too long.
If your lady is also sore she should use Canesten internally according to the instructions which come with the cream.

It may or may not be a yeast infection. Is it especially itchy at night, this could be a sign of worms. Look out for small white worms in your stools.
Better to be safe than sorry go and see the doctor. I'm sure it will be fine. good luck x

Yeast, such as Candida albicans are naturally occurring in every human and do not tend to activate the body's immune defenses except in overgrowth situations. They are naturally kept from growing our of control by neighboring friendly bacteria that secrete anti-yeast chemicals. Broad-spectrum antibiotics given for other conditions innocently destroy these friendly bacteria. When these friendly bacteria leave the body unprotected, yeasts can have a picnic on the nutrient-rich protein found in the skin and sugar-enriched mucous membranes. Once yeast infections get started, they must be dealt with in an aggressive way for best results.
Yeast infections area a generalized term that includes a variety of challenges including vaginal infection, inflammation, and irritation. Parasites, viruses, fungi, or bacteria can cause infections. Inflammation and irritation may be attributable to chemicals in tampons, bubble bath, and tissue paper. Sometimes excessive use of harsh soap with cause vaginitis.
Clothing contributes to yeast infections, particularly in those containing synthetic fibers such as polyester and nylon. Synthetic clothing retains mositure and encourages yeast growth. Bacteria can remain in synthetic fibers even after washing.
While yeast infections are common complaints by women, they are not limited to just females. Jock itch is a form of yeast infection as well. Symptoms include pain, itching, spotting, odor, irritation, and discharge. Recurrent or chronic infections will develop in those who are diabetic and in those taking birth control pills or antibiotics. Symptoms can be alleviated for many; however, the majority will not be cured by traditional treatments prescribed.
This is contagious; therefore, intimate partners should treat it together and should pay attention to the danger of becoming re-infected.
*Use Nature's Cleanse according to the directions. Melaleuca Alternifolia Oil is the only antiseptic capable of elimination each of the major types of vaginal yeast infections while exhibiting virtually no toxicity to vaginal tissue. Take Florify to help keep yeast and harmful bacteria in the digestive system in check.
Drink G'Day Melaleuca Tea and take the Vitality Pack, CellWise, and ProVex or ProVex-Plus with each meal. Avoid sugar, yeast, or mold-processed foods. Apply T36-C5, MelaGel, or Triple Antibiotic Ointment to affected areas other than the vagina.
Wash your clothes in laundry detergent (preferably one that is toxic free) and add 1-2 capfuls of Sol-U-Mel to each wash load. This will leave clothes as close to adverse organism free as possible.
Some of the products mentioned are available on my Yahoo Auction Site if interested. If unable to find a specific one mentioned, feel free to e-mail me with any questions. I hope that this helps you!
