Look do not even get involved with your adopted brother. You are staring at pain and drama if you do. Just let this go, really it is not even worth all the drama that you would go through.

Hold on there for a sec! Both of you must connect spiritually so much that you probably confused that with love. My advice, move on. If it's meant to be, something will happen on its own later in the future.

I think it's about how long has it been your brother? If all your life stop contact with him till you get over him but if only for a while go with it.

There is nothing wrong with it, I married my steph sister, we are also not blood related and I'm not one day sorry about it, the best thing about it is that you know each other better.
PS- I confirmed by the priest before I got married that there is nothing wrong about it!!!
